Ive handled Shopify stores for three years now and usually stick to Klaviyo for flows, but Im stuck on price drop alerts for my new sneaker boutique launching next month. My logic was that a native trigger existed but I cant find one without expensive apps.
Budget is tight from inventory costs so is there a workaround for this...
Klaviyo doesnt have a native price drop trigger, so you basically need an app like:
saw this today. quick question tho, how many skus are we talking about for the boutique?
Wait, I just saw this and had to jump in! To add to the point above: be super careful about trying to DIY this with custom code if you are not a pro developer. When I first started, I tried copying some random script I found to track price changes because I was so excited to save cash, but it totally crashed my product pages! It was a nightmare honestly. You really want to make sure whatever you choose is reliable and doesnt mess with your site speed... that is so important for sneakers where people want to buy fast! Maybe check if there are any lite versions of those apps mentioned because keeping your store stable is the most amazing feeling once you launch. Good luck with the boutique, it sounds fantastic and you got this!
