I am looking to buy a Breville espresso machine for our new house next month since we are finally moving in but the prices keep changing every single day it seems. Like one day its 350 and the next its 450 and I just dont know when to actually buy it. My budget is pretty tight at 300 bucks max so I really need to catch a sale.
Sorry if this is a total beginner question but I dont really get how these price trackers work and I really dont want to sign up for more accounts or get more spam emails in my inbox. Does anyone know of a browser extension that lets you see the price history or tracks stuff without making you log in or create an account?
The price tracking scene is honestly getting worse lately. I had issues with several tools that used to be great but now force accounts for basic history. Most are unfortunately just data harvesters. You should try this extension instead. It uses local storage so you dont need a profile, but if you clear your browser cache you lose everything, which is not as good as expected.
^ This. Also, finding a good tracker that doesnt harvest your data is getting harder unfortunately. I had issues with big extensions hiding basic data behind login walls lately. Its honestly not as good as expected out there. I usually use Price Drop Catch since it covers Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Best Buy without an account. It should help you snag that machine for under 300 if you watch the price volatility.
Keepa is the most reliable option for this. It embeds a price history chart directly on Amazon product pages, and you dont need to create an account just to view the data. Its worked fine for me without any spam issues.
