How can I share an Amazon cart without creating an account?

God this is so annoying. Trying to show my cousins what I picked for a bridal shower gift this weekend without making them log in.

  • free only
  • super fast
  • no account needed

Torn between using a cart-sharing extension or just messy screenshots. Which one is actually reliable for non-techy people?

> Which one is actually reliable for non-techy people? Its honestly so annoying that Amazon makes this such a chore. I tried using their native invite feature once and it was a total disaster because it kept asking my aunt to log in anyway. Unfortunately, there isnt a perfect built-in solution for this yet. The best luck Ive had is with Share-A-Cart. Its a free extension and is pretty fast. You basically just click a button while looking at your cart and it gives you a short code or link to send over. My cousins usually find that easier than trying to navigate a whole wishlist. If that feels like too much of a hassle tho, screenshots are the only way to be 100% sure they see exactly what you see. Just grab a couple of shots and send them in a group chat. Hit me up if you get stuck with the extension!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I tried Share-A-Cart after a really bad experience trying to use a different random tool last year. I’m always so paranoid about security and that other site felt super sketchy... I basically panicked and changed my Amazon password like five minutes later just in case. If youre gonna try it, I would suggest being a bit careful:

  • check the extension permissions before installing
  • make sure you're only sharing the specific items you want them to see
  • double check the link yourself in an incognito tab first It really is more reliable than screenshots because my cousins always complain they cant see the prices or sizes in my messy photos. Just be mindful of what you're installing and it should be fine tho.
