How can I share my Amazon.ca cart with another person?

So Im trying to plan this big backyard movie night for my kids birthday next month here in Toronto and Ive basically spent all morning picking out a decent budget projector and one of those big inflatable screens on Amazon.ca. Total is coming to like $420 bucks and my wife wants to look over everything before I pull the trigger because shes way more picky about reviews than I am. I tried looking for a share button or a link for my cart but I literally cant find anything. I read something about setting up an Amazon Household thing but that looks way too complicated for just one order and I dont really want to link our entire accounts or share credit card info permanently just for this. I also saw people mentioning some browser extensions like Share-A-Cart but honestly I dont know if I trust a random plugin with my login info or if it even works on the Canadian site. Is there a way to just send her a link to my current basket so she can see the exact items and quantities without me having to screenshot every single page? Like a direct way to just let her look at my cart or maybe a shared list that actually moves stuff into the cart properly?

I've used Share-A-Cart for years and honestly it works great on Amazon.ca. It doesn't actually need your login info, it just generates a unique code for the items. Super satisfied with how it handles everything without the Household mess. Its definitely the fastest way to get your wife to see the basket instantly.

I've been stuck with this exact same issue for weeks while building a custom garage setup. It's honestly annoying. Are you guys both on the mobile app or using desktops?

^ This. Also, adding my two cents because I literally just went through this exact same headache for a massive DIY patio renovation last month! I found that creating a public Idea List on the Amazon site is basically an absolute game changer. I just dumped all the hardware and lights into a list and sent my wife the link so she could see every review and price in real time. It was so amazing because she can just hit a button to add everything to her cart instantly! Honestly it made the whole process way less stressful than trying to navigate those Household settings which are just a total nightmare anyway. I love how it keeps everything organized in one spot for big projects... plus it is totally free and built in. Tbh it is definitely the way to go for your Toronto movie night!

There isnt a built-in button for it, which is so frustrating! I had the same issue when I was building my current setup last year. Honestly, finding a way to sync up is just amazing tho!

  • Lists are slow
  • Screenshots are annoying I love it when things finally work. if you're trying to coordinate a group purchase on Amazon, check out Cart to Link — it's free and works in like 2 clicks
