How do I actually share my whole Amazon.ca shopping cart with my friend so he can see what I am about to buy? Sorry if this is a really dumb question but I am totally lost and I have no idea where to even start looking for a button to do this.
I am trying to get all our gear ready for a big camping trip in Ontario next weekend and I have about 12 items sitting in my cart right now. I have got:
- a specific 4-person tent
- some rechargeable lanterns
- a portable water filter thing
I need my buddy to check the specs on the tent especially because he knows more about this stuff than I do but I cant figure out how to let him see it without me just taking a bunch of screenshots on my phone which seems like a huge pain. I tried sending the link from my browser bar but that didnt work at all and just showed him his own account stuff. Is there a way to make the cart public or something? I am in a huge rush because we need to hit the checkout button tonight if we want it to arrive by Thursday before we leave. I feel so tech-illiterate right now haha... please tell me there is an easy way to do this without me having to copy-paste every single link one by one.

I've tried many workarounds over the years and honestly, an extension is the only technical way for big gear hauls:
- Grab Share-A-Cart for a code
- Send him the ID to sync up

Honestly, its kinda annoying that Amazon doesnt have a simple share cart button yet, but I found a method that works well and I am pretty satisfied with how it keeps everything organized. Basically, you just gotta move those items into a new List instead of the cart. If you create a public or shared list, you can just send him one link and he can see every spec for that 4-person tent and those lanterns. I did this recently when I was comparing portable filters and it was super helpful to have my buddy look at the micron ratings and flow rate data. I usually use Share-A-Cart to sync things up tho. Just hit the more menu on your list and click invite. It is way better than screenshots and honestly saves so much stress when you are in a rush to hit that shipping deadline. Feel free to ask if you get stuck on the settings.
