My sister is having a baby shower next month and I am trying to help my mom buy stuff for it since we are spending about 200 bucks on gifts. The problem is she absolutely refuses to make an amazon account and honestly I dont really have one either lol. I have like 10 things in my cart right now mostly diapers and some toys for the nursery and I need to show her so she can pay for them.

I tried sending the link at the top of the browser but it just shows up as an empty cart for her when she clicks it on her phone. Is there a way to just like send the whole basket to her without us having to sign up for anything? sorry if this is a dumb question but i have no idea where to even start...

  • just use share a cart, its amazing!
  • it gives you a quick code to send her.
  • she enters it and sees the whole list. Love it, so easy and works perfect!

Caught this a bit late but wanted to weigh in since session cookies and cart data are actually super finicky. Before you try anything else, are you both using the same browser type, like both on Chrome? It makes a huge difference because if she is opening your link inside a social media app like Messenger or something, it wont ever work. I would suggest being a bit cautious with how you handle this since you dont have accounts. You basically have two main paths:

  • Using a dedicated cart sharing tool. These are great because they bundle the product IDs into a single link. The upside is it is fast, but honestly, you might want to consider the privacy aspect. Make sure to check what permissions the extension asks for before installing it... some can be a bit grabby with your browsing data.
  • The manual ASIN list. Every Amazon product has a unique ID called an ASIN in the URL or description. You could just copy-paste those into a text.
  • Pros: 100 percent private and zero tech glitches.
  • Cons: It is a massive chore for your mom to search 10 different codes manually and she might click the wrong variant or size by mistake. Just be careful with the browser handoff. If you send a link and she clicks it on her phone, it might open in a sandboxed browser that doesnt see any of the items you added. Does she have a laptop she can use instead? That usually goes way smoother than mobile.

This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.
