I keep seeing these videos where people say you should never pay full price on Amazon because the prices change every single day and it's making me feel like I'm getting ripped off. I was looking at this espresso machine for my kitchen—it's the Breville one—and it was 700 dollars yesterday but now it's 750 today.
So I was thinking there must be a way to see what it used to cost? My logic was that if it was 500 bucks a month ago I should probably wait until it goes back down but I have no idea how people actually see that data. I tried googling it and people keep talking about browser extensions and price trackers but honestly I don't even know what an extension is or how to put it on my computer... is it like a separate program or just a button in Chrome?
I'm sorry if this is a really basic question but I'm just so confused by all the options. I'm on a super tight budget because of the house stuff so I really can't afford to pay for a subscription just to save money on the machine it needs to be completely free. I saw something called CamelCamelCamel and another one called Keepa but they look really complicated with all these charts and graphs that I don't understand. Is there one that is just really simple for someone who isn't tech savvy at all...
TL;DR: CamelCamelCamel. I agree it is the simplest option. Over the years, I have found that email alerts are the most practical way to track prices effortlessly. Use this tool.
