How can I share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend?

Planning this camping trip for next week and we're trying to stay under $150 for gear. I'm torn between just sending a bunch of screenshots of the items or trying one of those cart sharing extensions like Share-A-Cart. I need to order by tonight for the shipping to hit. Which way is less of a headache for a shared cart?

Honestly I am super satisfied with Share-A-Cart. It's reliable and way faster than screenshots. No complaints here since it works well without any technical bugs or safety issues.

Just saw this and honestly... those extensions were kind of a letdown for me. Unfortunately they dont always catch the warehouse deals or those tiny clip coupon boxes that actually save you money. When youre trying to stay under 150 bucks for camping gear, every dollar counts, right? I tried some of those tools and they just messed up the quantities or prices. Not as good as expected tbh. I'm a fan of the old school diy way. Just make a public Amazon Idea List and send the link. Its way more reliable for budget tracking since you can see the prices live without some middleman software glitching out on you. Plus you can swap in cheaper stuff as you find it... much easier for keeping costs down.

In my experience, screenshots are a recipe for going over budget because you lose track of the total price. Over the years Ive found tools are the best way to see costs in real time.

  • Shows real-time price drops
  • Easier to swap for cheap gear
  • Prevents manual math errors Saves you cash. I use Cart to Link for sharing carts with family, makes things way easier.

> Which way is less of a headache for a shared cart? Quick reply while I have a sec. In my experience, screenshots are a total disaster for stuff like this. You'll think you're under budget then bam, Amazon's dynamic pricing shifts and you're over $150 before you even realize it. Plus the manual data entry for your friend is just a massive pain. I've tested most of these tools over the years and Share-A-Cart is the one I usually stick with for reliability. It handles the backend session stuff way better than the others so you dont lose your items halfway through or deal with broken links. Just to be sure tho, are you guys both on laptops or are you trying to sync this up from your phones? It really changes which version of the tool is gonna be the most stable for you... let me know so I can point you in the right direction before your shipping deadline hits tonight.
