How do I set up a Walmart price drop notification?

I'm trying to track this Vizio TV because it's $450 and my budget is strictly $400 for my sons birthday in two weeks. I looked online and people said to use Honey or browser extensions but I'm mostly on my phone and the Walmart app is just frustrating.

I checked the lists section and the heart icon but I don't see any setting to actually get a notification when the price falls. Does Walmart even have a built-in tracker or do I have to use a third party site? I read about Capital One Shopping too but some say it doesnt work for local stock... how do I actually get an alert?

Walmart doesnt actually have a functional price tracker. Ive been doing this for years and that heart icon is basically useless for alerts... it just saves the item to a list you have to check yourself.

  • Use a third party site like Slickdeals for keyword alerts. Its the only reliable way to get a ping on your phone.
  • Be careful with the Walmart app in general. It tends to show cached prices that might be outdated by the time you click through.
  • I would suggest checking the site around 7am. Most of their price updates happen overnight.
