Is the Kohls Rewards thing actually worth it or is it just a scam to get my email? I am trying to buy some new school clothes for my kids before next week and the prices are just insane.

I keep seeing this Kohls Cash and Rewards stuff everywhere but I dont get how it works. Do I have to pay to join? I tried to sign up at the store in Springfield but the app kept crashing and I just got so annoyed I left. I only have 150 bucks to spend on three kids and I really need to save. Sorry if this is a dumb question but is it even gonna save me real money today?

Totally get the frustration with the app, it can be a total pain when you are just trying to get stuff done and the tech fails. Honestly tho, its definitely not a scam and it is completely free to join. I use it all the time for my own kids and it actually makes a real dent in the total if you play it right. Since you only have 150 bucks for three kids, which is a tight squeeze ngl, you definitely want every cent you can get. Basically, you earn 5 percent back on every dollar you spend. That turns into Kohls Cash later. The real money saving happens when you stack their 15 percent or 20 percent off coupons with the rewards. If you sign up, they usually send a discount code to your email immediately, which could help you save like 20 or 30 bucks on that budget today. The tricky part is that Kohls Cash usually has a specific redeem window. You buy stuff now, get the credit, then come back next week to spend it. To really see if the deals are legit or if they just jacked up the prices before a sale, I usually check this Kohl's price tracker before I drive all the way to the store. It helps to know if that sale price is actually the lowest it has been lately. It is worth the two minutes it takes to sign up, just use a burner email if you are worried about the spam.

In my experience, it's essential for school hauls.

  • Use the 15% sign-up coupon today
  • Scour those clearance racks first
  • You'll earn $10 Kohl's Cash for every $50
