Is there a website that tracks Sephora product price history?

I am so incredibly frustrated with Sephora's random price jumps lately. I am trying to put together a skincare gift basket for my sister's bridal shower next month, and I have a hard budget of $150. The prices for the Drunk Elephant and Youth to the People products I want to get her literally change week to week and it is driving me insane.

I tried using the Honey browser extension to check the price history, but it just shows a blank chart for Sephora items for some reason. Then I tried Karma, but it only sends alerts for sales and doesn't actually show the historical data of what the price used to be. Obviously CamelCamelCamel is great but it only does Amazon.

Are there any other tools or websites out there that actually track Sephora price history? I just want to know if I am getting ripped off by buying right now or if I should wait a week.

Jumping in here. Quick question first—are you shopping on the US or Canada site? The region changes which tools actually work. Sephora actively blocks scrapers, which is why standard trackers fail. A couple of workarounds:

  • Track the items on Kohls Sephora page using generic page-monitors like Distill.io.
  • Set up alerts on Google Shopping, though it is kinda hit-or-miss.

Honestly, its super frustrating that Sephora makes it so difficult for price trackers to function properly. I have been a Rouge member for years and unfortunately, the situation with historical data is pretty bleak compared to what you get with Amazon. Most browser extensions like Honey or Karma struggle because Sephora uses dynamic scripts that block price bots from scraping their data accurately. I have had major issues with trackers showing outdated prices or failing to account for the Beauty Insider discounts, which just leads to more confusion when you are on a strict budget. One thing you really need to be careful about is trusting random third party sites that claim to have Sephora price charts. A lot of these are just fishing for affiliate clicks and dont actually update their data in real time. If you see a price that looks too good to be true on a tracker, it usually is. Also, a big mistake people make is checking CamelCamelCamel for these brands and then buying from unauthorized third party sellers on Amazon just to save ten bucks. With skincare brands like Drunk Elephant and Youth to the People, you are almost guaranteed to get expired or counterfeit products that way. Since there isnt a reliable dedicated tracker for Sephora specifically right now, your best bet is usually looking at the historical sale calendar instead. They almost always do a Spring sale in April. If you cant wait, check Google Shopping's price insights feature. It is not as good as it should be, but it is the only thing that occasionally catches those random jumps you are seeing tho. Just dont expect it to be 100% accurate because their site changes so fast... basically, you just have to keep a manual eye on your cart sometimes.
