What is the best app for Walmart price drop alerts?

So Ive been tracking prices for years now, mostly using camelcamelcamel for my Amazon hauls and I usually rely on Brickseek for my local Walmart stuff but man, lately it is just not working right. The inventory counts are way off and the price alerts are coming in like 4 hours after the item is already out of stock at my local store in Des Moines. Im trying to snag that specific 65 inch Sony Bravia for my dads retirement gift next month and my budget is strictly under 700 bucks but the price keeps jumping around like crazy.

My logic was that Brickseek would catch the clearance tag first but it seems like Walmart changed something with their backend or their API because the data is just stale now. I even tried setting up some custom distill web monitor stuff but its such a pain to manage on mobile. Is there something better that actually works for Walmart specifically? I heard about some app called Earny or maybe Capital One Shopping but I dont want a bunch of bloatware on my phone if it isnt gonna actually ping me the second a rollback happens. Im getting really stressed because the party is in three weeks and I really dont want to overpay. Does anyone know an app that actually has low latency for Walmart price drops or am I just stuck refreshing the page manually...

Honestly, Ive been hunting deals for years and seen the same decline with Brickseek lately. It used to be the gold standard, but Walmart definitely changed their backend protocols, making real-time tracking much harder for older tools. Most of the heavy browser extensions like Capital One usually end up being bloatware that sends delayed notifications... totally useless for high-demand electronics like a Bravia. Lately, I have had much better luck using Price Drop Catch because it seems to handle the specific Walmart API shifts way better than the others I have tried. It is far more methodical with its alerts and does not lag as much. Before you commit to a new setup tho, are you targeting a specific SKU that is flagged for clearance, or are you just waiting for a standard online rollback? Also, is your local store known for actually updating their physical stock levels on time?

Like someone mentioned, Brickseek is basically dead for local clearance. Unfortunately, I had issues with Earny too; it misses rollbacks constantly and the latency is terrible. If you want speed, check out Visualping. It monitors the actual site code every few minutes, which bypasses the buggy inventory APIs that most apps use. TL;DR: Use Visualping for direct site monitoring because the standard apps are way too slow.
