Looking for a decent tripod for my iPhone 17 Pro. Don't need anything crazy expensive, just something reliable. Budget is around $50. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I've spent way too much money testing these over the years. If ur looking for something that actually lasts past the first six months, I’d skip the basic stuff and look at these two: * Ulanzi MT-44 Extendable Vlog Tripod - This is basically my daily driver. It doubles as a selfie stick which is great for travel, and the integrated phone holder is super convenient (at least thats what worked for me). Only downside is the plastic flip locks can get a bit loose after a year of heavy use.
* SmallRig Tabletop Mini Tripod - If you want something that feels 'pro', this is it. It's all metal and way more stable for those long exposure night mode shots on the iPhone 17 Pro. It’s a bit heavier in the bag, but it wont tip over in a light breeze. Tbh, SmallRig usually wins for long-term durability because there's less plastic to snap. Just make sure the ball head is tightened down good before you let go.

Been using this for years, no complaints

I've used Joby GorillaPod on my car shoots – rock solid. Just be careful mounting it; test stability *before* trusting it with your iPhone 17 Pro. Worth every penny, I'd say.

Check Joby GorillaPod. Flexible legs, decent option. Phone mount quality matters.

Heads-up: Cheap tripods can fail. Prioritize stability, even if it means spending slightly more. Joby is decent.

Hey! For iPhone tripods, research Manfrotto vs. Joby. Manfrotto's usually pricier, but are they *really* worth it for phone use? Read reviews comparing build quality!

Don't overspend. Joby's GripTight ONE is solid around $30. More importantly, get a phone case with a secure tripod mount to prevent costly drops!
