I have been through three of these protectors since the 17e launched because the new display coating is finicky. I tried the cheap bulk packs years ago and they were garbage; they always lifted at the edges. Things have improved slightly, but you still get what you pay for. 1. Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for iPhone 17e: This is the baseline. The alignment tray is the main reason to buy it. I have installed dozens of these and they rarely fail. The clarity is decent, though it adds a noticeable lip to the edge of the screen that catches dust.

• Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 17e: I generally find Belkin overpriced, but this specific model is chemically strengthened and significantly thinner than the Spigen. It maintains the touch sensitivity of the 17e better than anything else I have tested. It does not distort the colors, which is a common issue with cheaper tempered glass.
• ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass XTR3 for iPhone 17e: This is for people who drop their phones on concrete. It is thick and the installation process is more tedious. It has a blue light filter that slightly shifts the white balance. I find the tint annoying, but the scratch resistance is objectively higher than the others. None of these are invisible. The 17e has a specific anti-reflective property that any glass protector will partially negate.
