so i just finally got the iphone 17e because my old iphone 11 was literally falling apart like the screen has a crack and the battery doesnt even last until lunch anymore i swear i spend half my life looking for a wall plug and it was getting so frustrating tbh. anyway the 17e is so much smaller which i love because my hands are kind of small and the big phones just feel like carrying a literal brick in my pocket but im super confused about the charging stuff now. the guy at the store mentioned magsafe and i saw the little circle on the back of the cases they were selling but i have no idea where to start or if i even need it? like i saw some chargers at target that were apple brand but they were kinda pricey and then i saw some on amazon that were way cheaper but i dont want to like fry my new phone or something since i already spent a lot of my savings on the phone itself... i think i have maybe $50 or $60 left for a good charger but i want something that actually stays on the back of the phone and charges it fast because im always on the go and i hate waiting around for the percentage to go up. also do i need a special block for the wall too? my old one is that tiny little white square one from years ago and i dont think the new cable even fits in it which is so annoying lol. i just want something that wont fall off if i bump it and wont take 5 hours to get to 100 percent.
sorry if this is a really dumb question i just havent bought a new phone in like forever and everything changed so much and i feel like a total grandma trying to figure this out. which magsafe chargers actually work best with the 17e or should i just stick to the regular plug in cables? i keep hearing about different speeds and magnets being weak on some of them so i dont wanna waste money on something that's gonna just slide off or take all night to charge...
Everyone recommends the Apple puck but its overpriced trash tbh. Grab these instead:
