I just picked up the new iPhone 16 and while the battery life is solid, I really need a reliable MagSafe power bank for long days of travel. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options and want to make sure I get one that actually supports the faster charging speeds the 16 series is capable of. I’ve been looking at brands like Anker and ESR, but I’m worried about heat management and whether the bulk might interfere with the camera lenses. Has anyone found a specific model that balances a slim design with enough capacity to get through a full day? I’d love to hear your recommendations on which one offers the best magnetic grip!

Honestly, I'm super happy with the Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K) A1654. It’s highkey the safest choice for Qi2 speeds; it fits my iPhone 16 perfectly without hitting the lenses. Works realy well! gl

Seconding the recommendation above. Safety first tho—I've unfortunately had issues with overheating using off-brand stuff, which literally kills your battery health. If youre worried about the cameras, the Belkin BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank 5K (BPD006) is a safer bet since it's super slim and won't block the lenses. It's not as high capacity as the others, but honestly, it's way more reliable for travel. gl!

Had a moment to think, so I'd suggest these for 15W Qi2:
- Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K) A1654: Efficient.
- ESR 10,000mAh MagSafe Power Bank (Qi2): Better thermals.
Careful, ESR might hit ur lenses tho!

Just sharing my experience: I was sooo worried about heat management when I first got my 16! I basically looked for something budget-friendly but safe cuz I dont wanna fry my new phone lol. I went through a bit of a trial and error phase:

1. Anker MagGo Power Bank (6.6K) A1643: Honestly my fav. Its highkey slim and basically never touches the lenses. Its only 6,600mAh so it doesnt have massive capacity, but it stayed pretty cool and was cheaper than the 10k versions.
2. Ugreen Nexode MagSafe Power Bank 10000mAh: Picked this up cuz it was a steal. More juice, but it felt wayyy heavier and got kinda warm. Tbh the bulk was a bit much for ur hand.

I'm satisfied with the smaller Anker for now. It works well and I'm happy it's not bulky. gl!

ngl I realy agree with prioritizing safety over capacity for these new phones. Since you're worried about heat, it might be worth looking into how easy it is to manage the battery yourself later if the MagSafe charging wears it down too fast. Basically, I've been reading up on the self-service side of things:
* Apple's new battery health calibration tools in iOS 18
* Checking the Self Service Repair manuals for the 16
* Using heat monitoring apps for DIY troubleshooting I'm still a bit of a beginner with the technical side, but it seems way more doable to handle battery health yourself now without needing a professional service every time. Has anyone checked if the new internal design makes a DIY battery swap easier if the MagSafe magnets cause issues down the road?
