I just picked up the new iPhone 16e and want to keep the display scratch-free. I am looking for a tempered glass option that includes an alignment frame and fits well with a slim case.

Are people using specific brands for better touch sensitivity? Also, does anyone know if the iPhone 15 protectors actually fit this new model?

Sooo, I've actually spent a ton of time testing glass for the new lineup, and honestly, protecting that 16e display is the smartest move you can make. Since you want an alignment frame and slim case compatibility, I've narrowed it down to three choices based on my first-hand experience. Basically, here is how they stack up:

  • iPhone+16e&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16e: This is my daily driver because the alignment tray is literally foolproof. It has a great oleophobic coating so finger grease doesnt build up, and it leaves just enough gap for a slim case.
  • iPhone+16e&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ESR Armorite Screen Protector for iPhone 16e: If you want extra strength, this one is rated for much higher impact. It comes with a full-coverage frame too. Touch sensitivity is basically identical to the bare glass.
  • iPhone+16e&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 16e: This is the professional choice if you want the thinnest possible profile while maintaining 9H hardness. Its what they sell at the Apple Store for a reason... it just works perfectly. Regarding your question about the iPhone 15 protectors... tbh, I wouldnt recommend it. While the screen size is the same 6.1 inches, Apple often tweaks the micro-curvature of the glass edges or the bezel width between generations. Using a legacy protector might cause haloing or lifted edges, which is a total pain. I've seen it happen where the sensor cutouts are just slightly off, and it can mess with the proximity sensor. I'm really happy with the Spigen setup myself. It feels premium and the installation was so easy, no bubbles at all. Just make sure youre in a dust-free environment before you drop the tray on, you know? Good luck with the new phone!!

Similar situation here - in all my years of iPhones, I finally tried a budget route. I was worried about the 16e screen so I got the iPhone+16e+3-Pack+with+Alignment+Tool&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">JETech Screen Protector for iPhone 16e 3-Pack with Alignment Tool for like $8. Honestly, I am so satisfied! It fits my slim case and basically saved me from a nasty drop already. Ngl, skipping the iPhone+15+glass+was+smart+c&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhone 15 glass was smart cuz the 16e edges are different tho. Good luck!

Quick question - can you clarify what specific slim case ur planning to use with ur new phone? I ask cuz some ultra-slim cases have a really tight lip that can lift the edges of certain glass, so I wanna make sure my advice actually helps!! I've been looking at value options that work well without spending a ton. Honestly, I'm super happy with these:

  • iPhone+16e+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16e 2-Pack vs iPhone+16e+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">JETech Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16e 3-Pack Pros and Cons:
  • amFilm: The OneTouch tray is basically foolproof and sensitivity is perfect. Only a 2-pack tho.
  • JETech: Best price per unit since you get 3, but the alignment frame is a bit more basic. Best choice: I'd go with the iPhone+16e+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 16e 2-Pack because the install is just so much safer and the glass feels high-end. Also, dont even try the iPhone+15+glass&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">iPhone 15 glass. The dimensions are just slightly off enough that it wont seal properly on the edges... trust me, it's not worth the hassle!! peace

well I've compared iPhone+16e+Tempered-Glass+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">ESR iPhone 16e Tempered-Glass 3-Pack vs iPhone+16e&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Torras Diamond Shield for iPhone 16e. ESR is safer for budget, but Torras has better sensitivity... plus, 15 glass wont fit properly!
