Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Google Pixel 8a and I’m looking to protect it right away. I’m a bit worried about how certain tempered glass options might affect the under-display fingerprint sensor, as I’ve had issues with that on previous phones. Ideally, I'd love something that comes with an alignment frame because I always seem to get bubbles or crooked edges. I've been eyeing brands like Spigen and dbrand, but I'm open to anything that fits perfectly without lifting at the corners. Has anyone found a specific screen protector that works flawlessly with the 8a’s touch sensitivity and fingerprint scanner?
Hmm, I've had a different experience. Over the years, I've wasted way too much cash on premium brands that cracked just as fast. I'd actually suggest the amFilm OneTouch Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 8a 3-Pack instead. It’s cheaper and the alignment frame is basically foolproof. It works flawlessly with the sensor if you re-register your prints. Lesson learned: you dont always need to pay that "brand tax" for quality.
stumbled upon this... after years of testing, Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit for Google Pixel 8a works well, that frame is flawless and i guess sensor lag basically didnt happen with Screen Protector Mode on
Nice, didn't know that
