Which fast charger works best with the new Motorola Edge 50 Ultra?

I just got the Edge 50 Ultra and I'm honestly a bit stressed about the charging situation. I saw online that it supports 125W, but finding the official Moto brick here in the UK is proving impossible right now. I read some threads saying a standard 100W PD charger should work—but others say it only hits those top speeds with proprietary tech—so I'm totally confused. I'm a field tech so I'm constantly on the move and really need that 0-100% speed.

My constraints:

  • Must be under £60
  • Needs to be compact for travel
  • Won't overheat the phone (really paranoid about battery health)

Does anyone know if Anker or Ugreen actually triggers the "TurboPower" animation, or am I stuck hunting for the official one? Oh, and it needs to be UK plug compatible...

Regarding what #1 said about "> finding the official Moto brick here in...", I'm no expert but I researched this last week. Third-party chargers rarely hit 125W because Motorola uses proprietary PPS ranges.

  • Standard 100W PD chargers like Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W usually peak at 68W on this device.
  • You must use a 5A rated E-Mark cable or wattage drops to 18W.
  • Charging speed throttles automatically at 40°C to protect battery health.

> finding the official Moto brick here in the UK is proving impossible I agree, stock is low. tbh just get any Ugreen charger. They are compact for travel and handle heat better than most third-party brands.
