Honestly im so fed up with my old S21 it barely lasts half a day now and the charging is just painfully slow like i have to leave it plugged in for hours it feels like... i mean its basically a brick at this point. I just grabbed the OnePlus 12 because i heard the battery and camera are actually good but now im realizing my old chargers are gonna be useless for those crazy fast wireless speeds they advertised. Im looking for something that actually hits those top speeds without costing a fortune tbh like maybe under $80?

  • needs to be high quality
  • has to work with a slim case
  • fast enough that i dont have to wait all morning

What are you guys using that actually works and doesnt just trickle charge?

Look. You just bought a high-performance machine and now you wanna use a hand pump for the fuel? Listen, if you want those 50W speeds, you gotta use the right gear or its gonna be a waste of time. Ive been fixing things for 25 years and I know when someone is trying to cut corners with cheap parts. Most chargers you find at the store are standard Qi and they wont hit the top speeds on a OnePlus 12.

  • OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Wireless Charger. This is the factory spec. It hits the full 50W because it has the proprietary AIRVOOC chip. It also has a cooling fan built in to keep the temps down which is CRUCIAL if you dont want to fry your battery long-term. It works fine through a slim case and hits that 0-100% mark faster than some wired chargers.
  • Oppo AirVOOC 50W Wireless Flash Charger. Basically the same part number under a different brand name. Oppo and OnePlus share the tech. If you find this one cheaper, grab it. It does the EXACT same job with the same internal components.
  • Anker 313 Wireless Charger Pad. Ngl this is a mistake for your specific phone. Itll only hit like 15W max because it uses standard Qi protocol. Its like trying to tow a trailer with a moped. Good for a nightstand if you got all night but you said you dont wanna wait. Listen, spend the money on the official 50W stand. Anything else is just gonna trickle charge and youll be right back where you started with that S21. Get the right tool for the job.

Look, I’ve spent 25 years wrenching on things and — wait, let me be clear — you won't hit those advertised top speeds without the proprietary 50W stand. Listen, everything else is just 15W max for that phone. I keep a Belkin BoostCharge 15W Wireless Charging Stand on my workbench.

  • It’s a reliable piece of gear.
  • Use a Anker 511 Nano 30W for input.
