So what fast chargers are you guys actually recommending for the OnePlus 15 because I'm kinda confused with all the different standards they have now. I'm upgrading from my old OnePlus 9 Pro and man that thing has been a tank for years but the battery is basically a potato at this point and it gets so hot even when I'm just scrolling or doing basic stuff. I know the basics about SuperVOOC and how proprietary OnePlus likes to be with their tech but I'm seeing conflicting stuff online about whether my older 65W bricks will actually hit the max speeds on the 15 or if I really need to shell out for the new 100W GaN chargers they're pushing. My main priority is definitely the battery life and charging speed since I'm on the go all day and cant be tethered to a wall for an hour. Camera is a nice bonus on the 15 but if I can't juice up to 80% in like 20 minutes then what's even the point of the upgrade tbh. I don't mind spending a bit more for a solid charger but I'd rather not buy five different ones just to find out they only do standard PD charging at like 18W. Are there any third-party brands like Anker that actually support the full protocol or am I stuck buying official ones again...

ngl im no expert but i just looked into this last week cuz i was also super confused. its basically a proprietary mess with supervooc so if you want that 20 minute charge time you really cant stray too far from the official stuff. your old 65w brick is gonna be way slower than what the 15 is capable of doing. here is what i figured out after digging through a bunch of threads:
- the OnePlus 100W Dual Port GaN Power Adapter is the only one thatll actually hit those peak speeds reliably.
- most third-party ones like the Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W use power delivery (pd) which oneplus caps at much lower speeds... like you wont see anything near 100w.
- you HAVE to use the official red cable too because standard usbc cables cant handle the high amperage for supervooc. it sucks you gotta buy new gear but if you want that fast juice then official is the way to go tbh.

Buy the Oppo 100W SuperVOOC Power Adapter. It is identical to the OnePlus version but cheaper and hits the full 100W SuperVOOC speed.
