Are there any recommended screen protectors for the new S26 Ultra that actually work? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start and I'm really confused by all the options. I’m finally upgrading from my old S21 which was a total disaster. The screen on that one is completely shattered and the battery dies after like three hours, so I really need to keep this new one safe. I'm honestly so anxious about scratching the glass or dropping it because this phone cost me a fortune. Do I need the tempered glass kind or that thin plastic film stuff? I don't want to mess up the fingerprint sensor or make the camera look blurry since the camera is the main reason I bought it. My budget is okay but I'm just scared of buying the wrong thing and wasting money. I also don't know if I can put it on myself without getting bubbles everywhere. Is there a specific brand that is easy for someone who doesn't know what they are doing? What should I get?

ngl I was just looking at this because the official ones are a ripoff — wait, actually just overpriced lol. If you want to save cash and not mess up the fingerprint sensor, you should lowkey check out the Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector. It’s way cheaper than UV kits and since it's a 'wet' install, you can slide it around to fix bubbles easily. tbh I've used them for years.

Saw this and had to chime in. Tempered glass is essential for the S26 Ultra to prevent screen cracks. Plastic film only stops scratches. Use a UV-cured glass kit; the liquid adhesive ensures the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor works without issues. Most include alignment tools for easy installation. TL;DR: Get UV-cured tempered glass for impact protection and fingerprint sensor compatibility.
