So I finally bit the bullet and got the S26 because my old S21 screen is basically spiderwebs at this point and the battery barely lasts till lunch but anyway i need to protect this new one like right now. I have no idea where to even start with this stuff like is glass better than those film things? Im really worried about the fingerprint sensor because on my old phone it never worked after i put a protector on it and i dont want to mess this up since i dont really know what im doing tbh. Sorry if this is a basic question i just really dont want to crack another screen... what are the best ones for the S26 that actually work?

^ This. Also, I'm no expert but I just looked into this last week because I had the same fingerprint concerns. I found that ESR Armorite Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S26 is a durable choice. - OtterBox They are reliable and don't interfere with the ultrasonic sensor.
