Which fast charger works best with the Samsung Galaxy S26?

Question

So I finally got my S26 delivered today and surprise surprise no charger in the box again. I knew it was coming but it still gets on my nerves especially for what these phones cost now. I need to get something fast because I have a flight to Chicago this Friday for a wedding and I cant be sitting by an outlet for two hours at the airport.

Im basically stuck between the official Samsung 45W wall charger and the Anker 715 Nano II. My logic was that the official one is the safest bet for that Super Fast Charging 2.0 stuff but its like 50 bucks which feels like a total rip off for a single port plastic brick. Then I saw the Anker one is way smaller and easier to pack but Ive heard mixed things about whether it actually triggers the full 45W speed or if it caps out at 25W because of some PPS handshake issue or whatever.

So Im leaning toward the Anker just to save some cash and space in my carry-on but I dont want to regret it when Im rushing and my phone is crawling along at snail speeds. Does the S26 even need a specific 5A cable for the 45W or can I just use the thin one that came in the box? I just want the fastest possible juice for under 50 dollars without the headache of buying the wrong thing...

The thin one in the box is just a 3A cable, so it will bottleneck your speed at 25W every single time because the PPS handshake wont authorize the higher current. Honestly, it is kinda a scam they dont include the good cable lol. I am totally obsessed with the Anker 715 Charger Nano II 65W for traveling because it is so stinking small and powerful! But you gotta pair it with a high-wattage cable like the Anker 543 USB-C to USB-C Cable 140W to actually see those 45W numbers. If you want zero stress before your flight, the Samsung 45W USB-C Fast Charging Wall Charger is fantastic because it actually includes the 5A cable you need in the box. It works amazing!
