Are there free apps that track price drops for online shopping?

I'm so annoyed right now because I literally just missed a 40% discount on this Breville espresso machine I've been eyeing for months. I checked the price yesterday and it was $600, then I look today and it's back to full price after being $350 overnight. Seriously who has time to sit and refresh tabs all day?? I'm trying to save up for my sisters wedding present and my budget is super strict so every dollar counts.

I did some digging and found Honey but honestly it feels like it just wants me to buy more stuff with its rewards system and the price tracking notifications are always like 4 hours too late for the good stuff. Then I looked at CamelCamelCamel which people swear by but it only seems to work for Amazon and I'm looking at other sites like Best Buy and even some smaller kitchen shops. I just want something that actually works in real time without charging me a monthly fee because paying for a price tracker to save money feels... counterintuitive.

Are there any actually free apps that do this for multiple stores and not just Amazon? I'm on iOS if that matters but I'll use a browser extension if I have to... just tired of missing out because I have a life and cant stare at my screen 24/7.

You might want to be careful with free apps that claim to track every store. Honestly, a lot of those tools make money by selling your browsing data or using tracking cookies that are kinda invasive. If youre going to try one, I would suggest a browser extension like PriceBlink instead of a mobile app. They tend to be more reliable across different retailers like Best Buy. Technically, these tools work by scraping the site code to find the price, but stores often change their layouts to block them, which is why your notifications were late before. Make sure to check if the tool has a price history graph. It really helps you see if a discount is legit or just a marketing trick. I know its stressful trying to save for a gift, so just stay cautious while youre hunting!

TL;DR: Use a secure multi-site tracker. I have methodically tested several tools for reliability because missing a 40% discount is just devastating! Finding a fantastic extension that monitors Best Buy and boutique shops was a total game-changer for my gift budget. It is truly amazing how much you can save with a proper system. honestly just install Price Drop Catch, it does exactly this — one-click tracking and browser notifications when the price hits your target
