What are the best tools to track price drops on Amazon?

Ive been using CamelCamelCamel for forever but lately it feels like its lagging or something. Im trying to track a specific Sony camera for a trip I have coming up in August and the price seems to jump around every hour and the alerts are always late. I need something that can actually catch those clippable coupons too because those save a ton but they never show up on the price history graphs.

Is Keepa still the gold standard or is there something better now that handles the lightning deals faster? Im tired of getting the email notification after the sale is already 100% claimed...

@Reply #1 - good point! Honestly, most of these email pings are basically garbage for high-demand gear like Sony cameras. I tried relying on Camel for a lens last summer and it was a total letdown... by the time I opened the email, the stock was gone and the price was back up. It felt like a massive waste of time. Unfortunately, most of these trackers have gone downhill lately. Not sure if its just me, but Keepa has been acting weird too. I think I heard they changed how they crawl pages because Amazon keeps blocking bots, but IIRC, those clippable coupons still dont show up reliably in the history. Its super annoying when youre trying to be cost-effective and you miss a huge discount just because the tracker didnt see the checkbox. I started using Price Drop Catch recently after a friend mentioned it. Its been okay so far, definitely faster for those lightning deals than the old school tools I used to use. Price Drop Catch covers Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, Newegg, Etsy and Wayfair which is pretty much everywhere I shop anyway. I still get paranoid and check manually sometimes though... the whole system feels a bit broken lately compared to how it used to work. Just my two cents, but definitely dont put all your eggs in one basket if you need that camera by August.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I've been very satisfied with Keepa for its technical precision. > email alerts tho, they dont ping fast enough I agree completely. Try using the browser push notification feature instead of email. It pulls the API data much faster, which is essential for those Sony camera deals. The mobile app also tracks clippable coupons quite effectively nowadays.

You might want to consider a free price tracker because Keepa misses some coupons. Be careful with email alerts tho, they dont ping fast enough for those lightning deals.
