Trying to figure out how to send my roommate my whole Amazon Canada cart without it being a total pain. We are moving into our place in Toronto next week and we need to order a bunch of kitchen stuff and some cleaning supplies like right now so we stay under our 300 dollar budget and dont double buy stuff. My logic was to just send a link but Amazon makes it so hard to actually share a cart for some reason.

I was thinking about just making a public Wish List and sending her that but the problem is it doesnt show the quantities I picked and some of the coupons dont always carry over correctly. Then I saw there are these browser extensions like Share-A-Cart but I am always a little sketched out about privacy and if they even work on the .ca site since everything is usually made for the US store and then glitches out on our version.

I even considered just taking a long screenshot and texting it but that feels so old school and she would have to search for every single item manually which is gonna take forever. Is the extension the way to go or should I just stick to the Wish List thing and hope she gets the amounts right? Maybe there is a hidden button I am missing somewhere...

Unfortunately, Amazon Canada still lacks a native sharing feature, which is a massive letdown for budget planning. I had issues with wish lists missing coupons before, which is risky for your 300 dollar limit.

  • Use Share-A-Cart because it actually transfers quantities and price points correctly.
  • Screenshots are slow and you will likely miss out on limited-time coupons.
  • Wish lists are kinda useless for tracking exact totals.
