According to the web, the iPhone 16 Pro MAX rumored to Support 40W Fast Charging and 20W MagSafe. So should I get a new 40W faster charger instead of my old 20W Charger ? Which brand do you recommend?

Based on latest tests from Web, seems average charger watt is 27W, so a 30W charger is enough, here is some recommended 30w chargers:

  • Anker Nano Charger, USB C GaN Charger 30W
  • UGREEN 30W USB C GaN Charger
  • Amazon Basics 30W One-Port GaN USB-C Wall Charger

Just saw this. In my experience over the years, everyone focuses on the wattage but forgets about PPS compatibility. If the charger doesnt handle the voltage steps right, the phone just gets hot and throttles anyway. I personally swear by the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 45W Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS since it's super reliable and has that extra port for an Apple Watch. The Satechi 30W USB-C GaN Wall Charger is also a great shout if you want something that looks a bit more premium on your desk. Speaking of desks, I spent like five hours yesterday trying to cable manage my whole setup under my standing desk and ended up buying these magnetic cable ties that cost way too much. My back is still killing me from crawling around on the floor... I think I need a better chair too if I'm gonna keep doing this stuff. Anyway, stick with the Belkin or Satechi and you'll be fine but yeah.

A 30W or 40W charger is enough for 16 Pro Max.

I love my Anker Nano Charger.

Budget option: Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3 30W). Tiny size, reliable performance, around $23. Single USB-C port but perfect if you just need phone charging.

Any charger over 30W is OK.
