just got an s26 and my old charger is crawling. i saw the official samsung stand but some people say the fan is loud, then i saw anker ones but idk if they actually hit the max speed. i need something for my nightstand that wont wake me up. which one is actually the best?

Honestly, stick with the official gear. In my experience, third-party brands often compromise on safety to hit those peak speeds. I've used the Samsung 15W Wireless Charger Single Pad EP-P2400 for years and it's rock solid. It doesnt have a fan so it's silent for your nightstand. It wont be the absolute fastest but it protects the battery longevity which is what actually matters.

I gotta disagree slightly on the generic ones tho, they usually lack the proprietary handshake for true 15W. Been very satisfied with these instead:
- Spigen ArcField 15W Fast Wireless Charger Pad
- Uses AirBoost tech, stays cool without a fan.
- Anker 315 Wireless Charger Pad 15W
- Super slim, works well for nightstands. Both are silent and way more consistent than no-name brands, basically a better long-term investment.

Generic stands work amazing! I found one for way less cash that hits top speeds without a noisy fan. Its totally silent on my nightstand and doesnt get hot!
