Are there any Chrome extensions that help compare prices across stores?

So I'm finally looking to upgrade my home office setup because my old Dell monitor is literally dying on me, like the colors are all washed out and it's making my freelance work impossible. I'm looking at getting an ASUS ProArt, something around the $350-$400 range since I'm trying to stay on a budget this month. I live in Oregon so I dont have to worry about sales tax which is nice but I still wanna find the absolute lowest price between like Amazon, B&H, and maybe Best Buy.

I've done a bit of digging and keep seeing Honey and that Capital One Shopping extension pop up everywhere. I tried Honey once but it felt like it was mostly just hunting for promo codes that never actually work? Like it'll try 20 codes and none of them do anything lol. Then with Capital One I'm kinda worried I need one of their credit cards to actually get the deals or that it's just tracking me for no reason. I really just want something that sits in my browser and tells me hey this is $20 cheaper at Newegg or whatever without me having to open ten tabs and check every single site manually.

Are there any specific Chrome extensions you guys use that actually do real-time price comparisons across different retailers?

I've been building setups for years and honestly, most of those coupon extensions are pretty useless for hardware. They're basically just data scrapers that show you expired codes. If you're serious about finding the best price for that ProArt, you need tools that actually pull from retailer databases.

  • PriceBlink is my go-to for what you're asking. It stays hidden until you're on a product page, then it scans other sites and tells you if B&H or Newegg has it cheaper.
  • The Camelizer is essential for Amazon. It shows price history so you know if you're actually getting a deal or if the MSRP was just raised yesterday.
  • Google Shopping extension is surprisingly decent because it uses Googles index to compare across every major tech site instantly. Stick to these and you'll stop wasting time with 20 useless promo codes. btw I use PriceDropCatch for Sephora hauls and it works great since you don't even need to make an account.
