How do I share my Amazon cart items with my spouse?

So we are finally getting around to fixing up the spare room into a home office. It has been a total disaster zone for like three years now but since I am working from home permanently now I actually need a desk that isnt a card table. I have spent the last few hours browsing Amazon and I have got about 15 items in my cart ranging from a standing desk to cable management clips and a really nice ergonomic chair. The total is sitting around $1,100 right now so obviously I cant just hit order without my wife looking at everything first. She is the one with the eye for decor and I dont want to buy a rug that she hates or a lamp that doesnt match the curtains she already picked out.

I tried looking up how to do this and most things online point to Amazon Household. We already have that set up so we share the Prime shipping and the credit cards are linked but for some reason I cant see her cart and she cant see mine. It seems like the carts are tied to the individual login even if the accounts are linked for benefits which is kind of annoying. I also saw some stuff about Idea Lists or Wish Lists but honestly that feels like such a chore to move every single item from my cart into a separate list just so she can see it and then she has to move them back to her own cart? There has to be a faster way to do this.

I really dont want to just hand her my phone and scroll through it because we are in the middle of a busy week and she needs to look at it on her own time on her laptop when shes off work. I thought about just sending her 15 different links in a text message but that is gonna be a nightmare for her to open and track. Is there like a share cart button I am missing or some kind of browser extension that actually works for this? I just want a way for her to see exactly what I have picked out in my cart without me having to give her my full login info or making a public wish list for the whole world to see. How do you guys usually handle this with your partners when you are doing big group purchases like this?...

I have tried many ways to handle this over the years without handing over my password.

  • Wish lists: Secure but way too many steps.
  • Group texts: Free but things get lost easily.
  • Cart to Link: My current choice for reliability. It is much safer than sharing logins and prevents those expensive mistakes on big orders.

In my experience over the years, shared carts are a technical mess. Try Cart to Link since it generates a single URL that bypasses the need for individual logins... really simple.
