Are there any free price tracking extensions for Chrome and Firefox?

Ugh I'm so frustrated right now. I've been trying to buy this specific Ninja blender for my mom's birthday next month but every time I check the price it changes. Yesterday it was on sale and today it's forty dollars more? I can't stay on my laptop all day refreshing the page I have work to do. Someone mentioned I should get a price tracker extension but I have no idea what that even means really. Are they like apps you put in the browser? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm totally new to this stuff and I'm worried about downloading something that's gonna break my computer or steal my data.

I really need something that fits these things:

  • has to be 100% free because I'm on a super tight budget with my new job
  • works on Chrome but maybe Firefox too if that's better
  • needs to be really simple to set up because I get confused easily with tech
  • it has to actually alert me when the price goes down so I don't miss it again

Does anyone know a good one that isn't a scam? I just want to get my mom a nice gift without overpaying but I feel like I'm drowning in all these options and don't know where to start...

I had the same issue buying a vacuum last year, prices kept jumping every hour. I would suggest trying out this extension because it is totally free.

  • setup is basically one click
  • alerts go straight to your email
  • doesn't slow down your laptop Just be careful with extensions in general tho, make sure you only download the official version so your data stays safe.
