What is the best tool to track Office Depot price history?

Ive been building out my home office setup here in Austin for the better part of a decade now and I usually have my system down for tracking deals. I live by Keepa for Amazon and Ive got scripts for a few other sites but Office Depot is driving me absolutely insane lately. Im looking to grab that WorkPro Quantum 9000 chair before the end of the month because my back is literally killing me from this old kitchen stool but the price keeps jumping between $350 and $520 every other day it seems like.

I tried using the usual browser extensions like Honey and even tried to set up a custom scraper on my local machine but Office Depots site has some weird anti-bot thing or maybe just bad optimization that keeps breaking my requests. Its frustrating because I know they cycle their coupons and instant savings but I cant tell if the current $399 sale is actually a good deal or if it hits $320 every third Tuesday or something. Most of the trackers I use seem to ignore them or the data is months out of date which is useless for a time-sensitive buy like this. Is there a reliable tracker or maybe a specific site that actually archives Office Depot pricing history accurately so I dont get ripped off? I really dont want to overpay just because I missed a historical low by two days...

Totally agree, OD's backend is a mess for tracking. Not 100% sure but:

  • IIRC PriceBlink sometimes catches their history
  • maybe check Slickdeals archives too Worth a shot anyway.
