I literally just bought the Dyson Airwrap at my local Sephora last Tuesday as an early birthday gift to myself since I saved up 600 dollars for it. Then I check the site today and its suddenly marked down by 50 bucks. Im kinda bummed.

I saw on Reddit that they have a 14-day window for price adjustments if the price drops on their own site, but then the official policy page only mentions price matching competitors like Ulta. Its super confusing because those are two different things and I dont want to drive all the way back there if they're just gonna say no. Has anyone actually gotten money back when their price drops right after you buy?

Ugh, I feel your pain. Dyson stuff is way too expensive to miss out on a 50 buck discount. Sephora is honestly pretty hit or miss with this stuff, so I would suggest being a bit cautious before you head over there. Their official policy is super vague about price adjustments versus price matching and it usually depends on who is working the counter that day. If you want that money back, make sure to:

  • Call that specific store first and ask for a manager.
  • Keep your original receipt handy, obviously.
  • Double check if they still have it in stock at that price in-store. Usually, they wont just refund the difference to your card. Most of the time, they make you do a full return and then rebuy it at the lower price. Its kinda annoying... just be careful and make sure you havent used it yet or they might get weird about the return. Ngl, for 50 dollars, I would totally fight for it.
