My best friend in Seattle is going through a nightmare divorce and I need to get some self-care items and basic groceries to her by Friday without her knowing it came from me. I've got a $150 budget and I'm stuck between two options.

I could use her Amazon wishlist but I'm terrified the packing slip will show my real name or billing address which ruins the whole surprise. The other idea was making a new account with a fake name but I dont know if Amazon will flag my credit card for that. Is it safer to just send a digital gift card from a throwaway email or is there a trick to hide my identity on a regular order? I need to buy this tonight so it ships out fast...

Seriously dont risk the fake account! Amazon security is crazy and they will lock your payment info instantly. Also, gift receipts still show the buyers name way too often. It is so much safer to just use a digital card from a burner email! It works like a charm and keeps everything totally anonymous. Good luck!
