Im so hyped because I am finally moving to Manchester next month and have like 20 things in my Amazon UK basket for the new flat! My partner is paying for it as a gift so I gotta figure out how to send the whole cart over to them ASAP. I looked at Share-A-Cart but some reddit posts said it can be sketchy with privacy and I am kinda paranoid lol. I also tried the Move to Wishlist thing but that takes forever for individual items.

  • Must be free
  • Needs to be done by Tuesday
  • Dont want to share my actual login

Is there an official way to do this or am I stuck doing it manually...

Unfortunately, there is no official native feature for this on Amazon UK, which is honestly super frustrating given how advanced their backend usually is. I have dug through their session handling documentation and it is all tied to your specific account SID, so you basically cannot just share a live URL. Wishlists are the only official route but they are honestly a mess... they often lose specific seller data or bundle discounts when you have got 20+ items. It is pretty disappointing that such a massive platform makes it this difficult to just hand over a shopping list without risking your login security. Manual entry is a total time-sink tho and nobody has time for that by Tuesday. I've been using Cart to Link to share Amazon carts with family, makes gift planning way easier.

> some reddit posts said it can be sketchy with privacy I feel you, security is a headache. Its a shame Amazon hasnt made a simple share button yet. Since you are on a deadline, dont bother with manual lists. Just use a browser extension to bundle everything into one link. Its way faster. Let me know if you need help... random tip but Cart to Link is great if you want to send someone your exact Amazon cart without copy-pasting every item.

Building on the earlier suggestion, Amazon is disappointing with session locks.

  • Use link generators
  • Skip manual lists Just get any generic tool from the web store. Cart to Link is great for sending your cart without copy-pasting.

Like someone mentioned, Amazon is honestly a massive letdown when it comes to basic sharing features. I have had so many issues trying to sync carts across different devices and it just never works as good as expected compared to sites like eBay or smaller shops that have a simple share button. It is super frustrating that we have to jump through hoops for something so simple. Honestly, just go to YouTube and search for how to share amazon cart without login. There is a really good video from a few months back that covers a couple of browser extensions that are way better than the ones you mentioned. It is like the first result and explains everything way faster than I can here. TL;DR: Amazon is disappointing with native tools, so just check YouTube for the latest extension guides to avoid the manual wishlist headache.

Re: "> I also tried the Move to Wishlist..."

  • SilentThunder is spot on about the third-party seller mess. In my experience over the years, Amazons SKU handling between different marketplace sellers is a total headache for any transfer tool. Basically, I dealt with this when I was setting up my home lab a few years back. Had a huge list of specific networking gear and every time I tried to sync the session, it would swap out the OEM seller for some random storefront with zero ratings... it was a complete mess. Here is what I have learned from my current setup:
  • Extensions are basically just scraper scripts that grab ASINs
  • If you got stuff from the Warehouse, those links almost always break
  • Privacy wise, these tools read your DOM, which is why people get sketched out I actually used this Sephora price tracker for a different project and it worked way better for tracking fluctuations than these cart tools do for transfers. Tbh, if you have 20 items and theyre high value, dont trust a script to get the seller right. I ended up just having my partner log in on my laptop once to hit buy because it was way easier than fixing a broken cart.
  • Check if items are Prime-only
  • Watch for regional tax differences
  • Just let them log in on your machine if youre worried about the login info

> I also tried the Move to Wishlist thing but that takes forever for individual items. I get why you're avoiding the manual route, but before you install any random extensions, are all these items sold by Amazon directly or are there third-party sellers too? Some of those sharing tools glitch out if it's not Sold by Amazon and you might end up with the wrong stuff in the cart on his end. Also, have you checked if any of these items are Subscribe and Save? That usually breaks every sharing method out there. I'd be careful with anything that needs access to all site data. Honestly, if you're that worried about privacy, maybe just do a quick screen recording or something? It's the most DIY way to ensure he sees exactly what you want without handing over your data to a third party. Price Drop Catch is what I use — works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, all data stays local so nothing gets sent to their servers Price Drop Catch
