Ugh, finally upgrading from my beat-up iPhone 11 and honestly I cant wait to ditch this battery that dies by noon, but now Im spiraling over screen protectors. I really wanna keep that new camera lens safe but I dont wanna lose any display quality either. Ive seen people swearing by Spigen but then others say those glass ones crack if you look at them wrong, and Im kinda lost tbh. Budget isnt a huge issue since I already spent a ton on the phone itself, but I just need something that wont mess with the touch sensitivity. Any of you guys found a protector that actually lasts without being a total pain to install?

Everyone pushes those big brands like Spigen, but honestly, you're mostly just paying for marketing. I've had better luck with cheaper options that don't crack at the slightest breeze. Before I drop my specific pick, are you the type who keeps your phone in the same pocket as your keys? That changes everything for me. Personally, I'm eyeing the TORRAS Diamond Shield right now, but I wanna know your habits first.

So funny you ask this — last summer I dropped my phone right onto a jagged rock while hiking and was convinced the screen was toast. I had an ESR Armorite Screen Protector on it, and honestly, the protector shattered but my actual screen was FLAWLESS. It was like magic, though I was stressed for a second there. Before I go into all the details, are you planning on rocking a heavy-duty case, or are you more of a minimalist? Sometimes the thicker protectors dont play nice with certain cases and that can be a total headache. Once I know your case situation, I can give you the full scoop, but for now, definitely check out:

  • ESR Armorite Screen Protector (super durable, high clarity)
  • Belkin UltraGlass Screen Protector (pricey but feels just like the real screen) Let me know about that case!

No way, I literally just dealt with this yesterday. Small world.

Re: "Everyone pushes those big brands like Spigen, but..." - honestly id skip the overpriced hype anyway. I was rocking an expensive name-brand piece before that hike and it shattered immediately, leaving me out like forty bucks. Next day I grabbed a cheap two-pack of Ailun Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 15 Pro off amazon for like ten bucks and its been bulletproof ever since, plus touch sensitivity is 100% fine. Save your cash for a good case instead...

Congrats on the upgrade! Since you're worried about the display, I’d look into the Spigen GlasTR EZ FIT Tempered Glass. It comes with a plastic alignment tray that makes installation foolproof — just make sure your screen is perfectly dust-free first. If you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, I'd recommend getting it professionally done at a local shop to avoid any air bubbles or alignment issues.
