Im finally ditching my S21 Ultra since the battery is basically toast and it takes forever to charge, like I literally have to leave it plugged in all morning. Im super hyped for the OnePlus 15 but honestly the whole charging situation is making me kinda anxious tbh. I saw the official 100W SUPERVOOC block online but then I read on a thread that some Anker GaN chargers might work too? But then others say it wont hit the max speeds unless its the specific proprietary cable which is just confusing. I dont wanna waste money if it wont actually give me the fastest speeds... what cables and bricks are you guys actually using to get the max charge?

This topic comes up a lot. You cannot hit maximum charging speeds on the OnePlus 15 with third-party hardware. OnePlus uses proprietary SUPERVOOC technology. You need the OnePlus 100W SUPERVOOC Power Adapter and the official OnePlus SUPERVOOC Type-C to Type-C Cable. Third-party options like the Anker 737 Charger GaNPrime 120W are high quality but use Power Delivery standards. On a OnePlus device, these will typically cap at 27W or 45W depending on the specific model's PD profile. The proprietary cable is mandatory because it contains a specific chip to negotiate high amperage safely. Using a standard USB-C cable with the official brick will result in significantly slower speeds. Stick to the official accessories if you want the advertised 100W performance.

Just saw this—building on the earlier suggestion—this comes up a lot, actually—just get the OnePlus 100W SUPERVOOC Power Adapter because:
- the OnePlus SUPERVOOC Type-C to Type-C Cable is (annoyingly) the only way—wait, I mean the only fast way.
