honestly everyone is gonna tell you to just buy the official oneplus brick because they think anything else will blow up your phone but ngl they’re mostly just falling for the marketing hype... its true that oneplus uses that supervooc tech which is proprietary but you dont have to spend like fifty bucks on their official site just because they tell you to. real owners know that since oneplus is basically just oppo in a different outfit you can just grab basically any Oppo SuperVOOC compatible charger from a third party and itll do the exact same thing for way less. the reviews for the official stuff are usually just people who are scared of non-brand gear but ive been using random stuff for years and my batteries are totally fine. pd and pps chargers are okay for laptops but they’ll never hit those CRAZY speeds the nord 4 is capable of because oneplus lowkey locks the fast stuff behind their own protocol. if you want that fast juice just look for any Realme SuperDart or generic vooc stuff on sites like amazon... just make sure it says it supports at least 80w or 100w. dont get sucked into the anker hype either tbh they make good stuff but their chargers usually default to standard pd speeds on oneplus phones so you’ll be stuck waiting forever just like with your ipad brick. just get a high wattage generic one from UGREEN or something similar that specifically mentions oneplus compatibility and you’ll save a ton of money while still hitting those fast speeds. people act like you need the official logo on the plastic but its all the same internals at the end of the day... just dont overpay for a name.
