Upgrading from my S22 Ultra and the screen scratches are driving me nuts. I'm rocking a case but need a protector that doesn't mess with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor or the S-Pen responsiveness. Any recommendations for the S26 Ultra that actually stay put on the curved edges?

Building on the earlier suggestion, I have tested dozens of protectors and the adhesive quality on curved displays is where most fail. If you want a perfect fit for the S26 Ultra, look at these specific kits:

  • AmFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass S26 Ultra
  • ESR Armorite Screen Protector S26 Ultra These use high-viscosity glue that fills micro-scratches. Pro tip: cure the glass for at least 3 minutes under UV light to ensure zero lifting on the edges. The S-Pen sensitivity remains flawless.

Honestly, skip the cheap plastic films and go straight for tempered glass to keep that screen pristine. For the S26 Ultra, these two are the only ones I trust to actually stay put:

  • Whitestone Dome Glass UV Tempered Glass
  • Spigen NeoFlex Solid Full Coverage Film Just make sure you re-register your fingerprints after installation — it makes a world of difference for the sensor.

I completely understand the frustration. Seeing those tiny, permanent scratches accumulate on a premium device like the S22 Ultra was infuriating, especially when you take care of your gear. It feels like no matter how careful you are, the screen ends up looking worn within a few months. I've had my fair share of ruined installations and wasted money. Just make sure you are extremely careful with the installation process, as it is very easy to cause permanent damage to your device if you are not prepared. Keep these risks in mind:

  • UV glue can seep into the speaker grill or side buttons if you do not mask them properly, potentially causing internal damage.
  • Using excessive force while smoothing out bubbles can actually crack the glass underneath if you are not careful.
  • Improper curing can lead to the adhesive trapping debris or air pockets that are impossible to remove without replacing the entire screen. Double-check your surroundings to ensure a dust-free environment, as one stray particle will drive you crazy once it is trapped under the adhesive. If you have any doubt about your steady hand, I would recommend getting it professionally done if you are not sure. It is much cheaper to pay a small service fee than to repair a display that has been compromised by improper installation.
