I am so hyped because I am finally building my dream PC next month and I need to track part prices like a hawk so I can stay under my 1200 dollar budget!! I looked into Honey and Keepa already since everyone talks about them but Keepa looks kinda complicated and mostly just for Amazon while Honey feels more like a desktop thing and I do like 90% of my shopping on my iPhone while I am at work.
I really need something that:
- works smooth on iOS
- gives instant push notifications when a price drops
- tracks sites like Best Buy and Newegg too, not just Amazon
Are there any apps that actually work for this or am I stuck checking manually? I just dont want to miss a flash sale while I am busy...

^ This. PCPartPicker is a lifesaver. In my experience tho, you gotta be careful with some price apps... some are just data miners. I've tried many over the years and usually stick to these:
- Google Shopping: Solid for Best Buy alerts but can be slow.
- Slickdeals: Great for flash sales but lots of noise. I always use a free price tracker for a quick sanity check before buying. Dont wanna get scammed by fake discounts.

- Karma works great for tracking Best Buy and Newegg.
- PCPartPicker alerts are faster than most apps. In my experience, these two are the best combo for PC parts.

Just found this thread. Honestly, manual checking is a total trap. When I did my last build, I used my current setup which relies on an app that monitors forum posts and price leaks for specific keywords.
- pings hit my phone instantly
- caught prices before stock evaporated
- filtered out junk sellers The one I got worked perfectly for catching those weirdly low midnight sales and I dont miss having to refresh tabs.
