Is there a way to just send a link to my entire Amazon.ca cart to my roommate? We are trying to do a big restock for our place in Toronto before the weekend- mostly just kitchen soap and a bunch of bulk snacks- and I have like 15 things in there already. I searched around and people keep saying to use the Wish List feature but that seems super annoying to move everything over one by one. Then I saw a thing about Amazon Household but I really dont want to share my actual credit card info or Prime membership with them lol. Is there a simpler share cart button I am just missing or a Chrome extension that actually works for the Canadian site?
Amazon Canada doesnt have a native button for this, so the Wish List route is usually what they force on you. The Share-A-Cart extension is basically the standard workaround for the .ca site.
> a Chrome extension that actually works? Building on the earlier suggestion, be careful with permissions. I used one and it messed up my regional pricing once. Make sure you check the site settings so you dont get charged wrong.
Stumbled upon this discussion today. I have been quite satisfied using the extension mentioned for my own household restocks. It is reliable and keeps my account secure, which was my main concern. Just a quick tip: double-check that your roommates see the same prices. Prime-exclusive deals might not transfer if they arent members too. It has worked well for me so far.
Caught this thread a bit late but man, I have been in your shoes before. When I was living with three other guys in a cramped place downtown, we tried doing the manual copy-paste thing and it was honestly a nightmare. Someone always forgot the bulk snacks or ended up buying the wrong brand of soap because the links got crossed. I would suggest being super careful with which tools you pick tho. I tried one extension last year that kept trying to force me onto the US site which messed up the shipping fees entirely... really annoying to fix. Just make sure to verify the cart contents once they transfer over so you dont accidentally buy duplicate items. Lately for my own restocking stuff I have been using Price Drop Catch and it has been pretty solid for keeping track of when the prices actually dip on those big grocery items. It is worth looking into if you are doing frequent restocks like that. Good luck with the move and if you hit any glitches with the sharing part just yell, i have probably dealt with it before.
