Ive been a Sephora Rogue member for years so I usually know all the seasonal sales but I just saw this ad for a Sephora outlet site claiming 90% off everything. It looks really legit with the fonts and logos but the URL is sephora-clearance-sale-usa.com which is super weird and it doesnt link to the main app. Im trying to get my sister some Drunk Elephant stuff for her birthday next week and my budget is tight right now so these prices would be a lifesaver if theyre real but it feels way too good to be true. Is this actually an official clearance site they just launched or am I about to get my card info stolen?

Ugh, stay far away from that site. Honestly, it makes me so sad to see how convincing these scams are getting lately. I actually fell for something similar a few months back with a warehouse clearance for a high-end skincare brand I love. The site looked identical to the real thing, same fonts and everything... I thought I was getting a massive haul for like fifty bucks. Turns out, I just handed my credit card info to some random scammers and had to spend hours on the phone with my bank getting the charges reversed. It was such a nightmare and so disappointing because I really wanted those products for a trip I was planning. Unfortunately, Sephora never does 90% off anything, especially not Drunk Elephant. If you are looking for deals that wont break the bank, you should probably just look at:

  • The Ordinary
  • The Inkey List
  • Good Molecules I have used pretty much everything from those brands and they really are the best budget-friendly options out there. Just get anything from The Ordinary and you will probably be happy with the results. Its not exactly the same as Drunk Elephant but your wallet will thank you and your sister will still get some great skincare. I tried to find a secret outlet once and it just ended in heartbreak and a cancelled credit card... totally not worth the risk imo. Stick to the main site or the app to be safe.

Regarding what #1 said, its definitely a scam. Learned to check domains after getting burned once. I use PriceDropCatch now for real price drops and it works well.
