Whats the go-to site for tracking fragrance price drops across discounters like FragranceNet or Jomashop these days? Ive been collecting for about five years now, mostly focusing on niche stuff like Amouage and Xerjoff, so Im not a total newbie when it comes to the grey market shops. I usually just manually refresh my tabs or wait for the standard 37% off coupons to hit my inbox, but honestly its getting exhausting and I keep missing out on the really deep clearance deals.

I was trying to snag a bottle of Reflection Man last week when I saw a Reddit post saying it dropped to like 140 bucks somewhere, but by the time I clicked through it was already back up to 210. I feel like my old method of just checking every morning isnt cutting it anymore because these flash sales happen so fast now and the bots probably grab the best stock immediately.

Im based in the US and looking to spend around 500 dollars total this month on a couple of spring scents so I really need to make every dollar stretch. I tried setting up Google Alerts but it just gives me random blog posts instead of actual price changes. Does anyone use a specific tracker that actually handles discounters well or maybe an app I dont know about yet?...

Just saw this and man, the struggle to catch those Xerjoff drops is intense! I used to be just like you, obsessively checking tabs until I felt like a bot myself. Honestly, once you start getting into niche stuff like Reflection Man, those 5-minute price windows are brutal. I eventually gave up on manual checks and moved to page-monitoring scripts that look for specific changes in the site code. It’s so much more reliable because you aren't waiting for a third-party database to refresh. A few things that made a massive difference for me:

  • Setting up monitors that check every 5 minutes
  • Using tools that offer instant SMS alerts instead of just email
  • Filtering specifically for "In Stock" changes so I don't get excited for nothing Just curious, are you strictly looking for desktop-based tools or do you need something that pings your phone while you're out? Also, are you okay with using something like Visualping that requires a tiny bit of setup, or do you need a totally hands-off solution?

Honestly, the struggle is real when you're hunting for Amouage or Xerjoff deals. I've been using Parfumo for a while now to keep tabs on my wishlist and honestly, it works well for exactly what you're describing. I managed to snag a bottle of Naxos for a steal last month because the notification actually hit my phone on time, unlike those delayed emails. Here is what usually works for me:

  • Set up specific alerts for your top 5 most-wanted spring scents.
  • Check the price history graphs so you know if 140 is actually the floor or just a blip.
  • Use the search filters to exclude sketchy sites so you only see the legit discounters. Im really satisfied with how it handles the major shops like Jomashop and FragranceNet. It saves so much time and my budget goes way further now. Definitely worth a look if you want to stop missing those flash sales... let me know if you need a hand setting up the filters tho.

Man, missing out on Reflection Man at that price hurts so bad... I feel your pain completely! Flash sales on niche stuff disappear in literally seconds these days. IIRC, are you tracking these specific bottles on your phone with push notifications enabled, or just relying on email alerts? Not sure if this helps with the super fast drops, but you might want to try PriceDropCatch—it shows you the price history so you know if you're actually getting a good deal or not.
