Ive been using Pixel phones for years but the battery on my 7 Pro is finally toast and the overheating is driving me crazy. Just upgraded to the 10 Pro but my old Qi pads barely charge it, its like they cant handle the wattage. Which wireless chargers actually work well with the 10 Pro?

Regarding what #1 said about "Honestly, the issue is your old chargers," I kinda have to disagree. You dont need to drop a fortune on brand new tech if you just know how to shop smart. I managed to fix my charging setup for pennies on the dollar—dealer wanted like $150 for a branded stand, but I did it for $35. Lowkey saved me a ton of cash. Here is what I found works for the Pixel 10 Pro:

  • Anker PowerWave II Stand 15W: Super reliable and hits those peak charging speeds. Costs about $25, which is a steal.
  • Spigen ArcField Wireless Charger 15W: Keeps the phone cool and fits the budget perfectly. Honestly, DIY is the way to go. Just check your wall brick specs first, because that saves me way more than buying expensive pads ever could.

Late to the party but honestly, stick to the Google Pixel Stand 2nd Gen 23W if you want the full experience. I tried cheap pads years ago and it was GARBAGE, constant heat and slow trickle charging. The Pixel 10 Pro needs that active cooling fan to stop it from throttling. It sucks to pay the premium, but you wont have to deal with the overheating issues you had on the 7...

Honestly, the issue is your old chargers. I've been through three of these over the years, and most older pads just dont have the power delivery the new chips need.

  • Avoid cheap generic pads; theyll just overheat your phone.
  • Stick to chargers that support the latest EPP standards.
  • Watch out for misaligned coils... if it isnt centered, itll just burn through your battery life instead of charging it. Honestly, just get something modern.

> my old Qi pads barely charge it Everyone pushes the official dock, but honestly, have you tried a high-wattage brick first? Are you using the brick that came with the phone?
