so i finally pulled the trigger and ordered the oneplus 13 and im so excited but also super nervous because i dont know anything about phones really... im upgrading from an old iphone 11 that basically had its screen shattered for a year and the battery was just awful tbh so i really want to keep this one safe. sorry if this is a dumb question but i have no idea where to start with cases like do i need a thick one or a thin one? i really love the camera on this thing and i dont want it to feel like a brick in my pocket. what are the best protective cases for the new oneplus 13 that wont ruin the look?

I've been through three of these launches—wait, actually four—and thin cases are mostly for show.
- Ringke Fusion-X OnePlus 13 for drops.
- TUDIA DualShield OnePlus 13 for real safety. Just grab one.

Like someone mentioned, that camera is massive—I'm no expert but I spent all last week looking—and these are the ones I found that aren't bulky:
- Poetic Guardian Case for OnePlus 13 is clear—well, mostly—so you still see the phone's actual color.
- dbrand Grip Case for OnePlus 13 is thin—wait, no, it's really about the texture—it basically stops you from dropping it in the first place.

Saw this and had to chime in because i just spent way too much time researching this for my own order. tbh the oneplus 13 is a beast but that camera bump is basically a target for scratches if you arent careful. since you want protection without it feeling like a literal brick in your pocket you gotta look at these specific ones.
- OnePlus 13 Magnetic Bumper Case Walnut Finish is honestly the way to go if you want that premium look. its SUPER thin but gives just enough lip to keep the screen off the table. plus the magnets are actually strong for accessories which is nice if you use magsafe stuff.
- Spigen Liquid Air for OnePlus 13 Matte Black is usually my go-to for daily use. it has that matte texture so it wont slip out of your hand and it keeps the phone feeling slim. spigen never misses with the fit and the camera cutout has a nice raised edge.
- Poetic Guardian Case for OnePlus 13 Heavy Duty if you are REALLY worried about dropping it like your old iphone. it has a built in screen protector and clear back so you can actually see the color of the phone you paid for. its bulkier but it will survive a drop onto concrete EASY.
- Ringke Fusion-X OnePlus 13 Camo Black gives you that rugged bumper look without making the phone huge. it has these weirdly comfortable grips on the side that make it way easier to hold while taking photos. honestly just avoid those cheap generic ones on amazon because they never fit the camera cutout right and you dont wanna mess up that lens... if you want the best balance of slim and safe just go with spigen.
