Which screen protector works best with the OnePlus 12?

Moving from an 8 Pro where my screen protector always bubbled at the edges. I've researched the Whitestone Dome UV kits, but the glue seems like a mess—and some people say it ruins the speakers. I also saw some "liquid" options, but that sounds fake? I just need something that fits the OnePlus 12's curves without lifting... any suggestions?

> I just need something that fits the OnePlus 12's curves without lifting... any suggestions? Look. Don't waste $40 on glue kits. It's a phone, not a cylinder head. Listen, I use Ringke Dual Easy Film OnePlus 12. It's about $12 for a two-pack. Installation is fast. No mess near the speakers. It stays on the curves if you clean the glass with 90% isopropyl first. Cheap and works. Stop overthinking it.

ngl i spent way too much time looking at these because i refuse to pay those pro installation fees. the shop wanted $50 just for the install but i did it myself for way less. for the OnePlus 12 curves, Whitestone Dome Glass UV Kit is the gold standard but man $40 for one screen is STEEP. i went with the IBYWINDU TPU Film 2-Pack instead. it was like $10 for two... thats $5 per phone vs $40. it actually sticks to the edges way better than glass ever does and i didnt have to mess with messy glue near my speakers. tbh the glass ones feel nicer but the TPU film is basically invisible if you do it right. SAVED me a ton and it doesnt lift even with my bulky case... just gotta be patient with the bubbles.

ngl I spent way too much time falling down a rabbit hole on this — I think it was on a OnePlus subreddit — and honestly, the UV glue stuff scares me too. Like someone mentioned, the risk of it gunking up your ear speaker is lowkey terrifying. I’ve tried those liquid options before and they felt... wait, no — they didn't feel fake, just like they didn't really do anything? idk. Anyway, here's what I'd do:

  • Just get any film protector from Spigen. You can't go wrong with them.
  • Look for their flexible TPU stuff because it wraps around the curves way better than glass.
  • Focus on the ones that come with a spray or a 'wet' install — it lets you slide the protector around until it’s perfect. It’s probably the safest bet if you're worried about the edges lifting like on your old 8 Pro.
