Finally making the jump and upgrading from my aging OnePlus 7T (which has served me well, but the battery barely holds a charge for half a day now and the camera is just not cutting it anymore). I am super hyped for the OnePlus 13—mostly because I desperately need all-day battery life and a reliable camera for my upcoming trips, while still keeping a somewhat manageable size (though phones are huge these days, what can you do).
Anyway, I'm trying to get my desk and nightstand set up for it ahead of time. I know the 13 supports that super fast wireless charging (AirVOOC, right?), but proprietary tech always confuses me. I was digging through Reddit and some old forum threads—saw a bunch of people swearing by the official OnePlus 50W AIRVOOC charger, but others saying third-party Qi2 pucks are fine if you just want overnight trickle charging.
Here is what I'm trying to figure out:
I just don't want to waste money on a brick that charges slower than a potato. Oh wait, I almost forgot—does the curved-ish screen design on the new model cause any alignment issues with upright vertical stands?
So yeah... Which wireless chargers are actually worth buying for the OnePlus 13?
Look, standard Qi chargers output 5W to 10W max on OnePlus phones. Listen, buy the OnePlus 50W AIRVOOC Wireless Charger for $70 if you want actual speed.
