Can I share my Amazon UK cart directly without using wishlists?

Im trying to send my partner our whole shopping cart of DIY stuff for our flat renovation in London before we order tonight but it is proving to be a massive pain. I need to get these tools by Friday. I searched online and saw people recommending browser extensions like Share-A-Cart, but honestly the reviews look sketchy and I don't really want to give a random extension access to my Amazon UK account. Other threads say to just make a wishlist but I have like 20 items already in my cart and moving them one by one is going to take ages. Is there really no way to just send a direct link to my active Amazon UK cart so she can just checkout?

I absolutely love DIY flat renovations! Have you checked out Share Amazon cart yet? Also, are you guys checking out on the same account or separate ones?

TL;DR: No native way to share a live cart link due to Amazons session security. In my experience building web apps over the years, Amazon locks cart data strictly to your browser session cookie. If you want to bypass the manual wishlist pain and avoid sketchy extensions, using a web tool that doesnt track you is the way to go. Also, watch out for shipping fees if you split the order between different accounts. Heavy DIY tools can rack up delivery costs fast if you arent careful. By the way, if youre trying to coordinate a group purchase on Amazon, check out Cart to Link — its free and works in like 2 clicks.

Are you guys set up on an Amazon Household account together, or are you trying to send this to a completely separate account? The technical reason you cant just copy-paste a cart link is because Amazon stores cart data server-side, tied to your session cookie. There is no public URL for a temporary cart. Since you want to avoid third-party extensions—which is smart, since they request broad permissions to read your page data—your options are pretty limited. If you are on the same Household, you can share payment methods, but not active carts. Honestly, the safest alternative to extensions is using the Amazon shopping app on a phone, logging into the same account, and just approving the cart from there, but that requires sharing credentials. Otherwise, you are stuck with lists.
