sorry if this is a dumb question but im kinda totally lost when it comes to online shopping stuff lol. my sister lives in vancouver and she asked me to buy a bunch of snacks and a couple birthday gifts for our mom using amazon.ca since i have the prime account. instead of me searching for every single item she wants one by one, i was wondering if she can just put everything into a cart on her end and send it over to me so I can checkout and pay for it with my card? like is there a share button somewhere or does it not work like that? ive been clicking around on the app for like twenty minutes and cant find anything obvious. anyway let me know if you can share a cart on amazon.ca directly or if she has to just send me a long list of links instead...

Oh man, I totally felt your pain when my brother tried doing this exact same thing last year! I spent like an hour clicking around the app trying to find a magical share button that just does not exist. It drove me nuts tbh. Back then we ended up doing the annoying link copy paste thing and it took forever. Since you want to keep everything safe and secure with your prime account without messing around too much, there is actually a pretty cool workaround now. Have you heard of Share Amazon cart tools? They basically let you generate a list link or collaborative wish list where your sister can dump everything safely. When my friend recommended it to me last month for our holiday shopping, it saved my sanity completely! What we do now is my sister just drops items into a shared list instead of her actual active shopping cart. Then I just click over to that list on my end, hit add all to cart, and boom, everything is sitting right there ready for checkout using my prime perks and payment info. It is seriously a game changer and keeps you from having to search for twenty different snack brands one by one. Hope this saves you the headache I went through!

Adding my two cents here since account security can get messy fast when sharing carts. Before I suggest the safest workaround for your situation, how many items are actually on her list, and are you guys sharing a household account or totally separate ones? Knowing that helps a lot. Btw a handy tool can sometimes make managing shared gift lists a bit safer and easier to track.

> "instead of me searching for every single item she wants one by one, i was wondering if she can just put everything into a cart on her end and send it over to me so I can checkout and pay for it with my card?"\n\nActually, you can't share a live shopping cart directly on Amazon.ca like that, but there are a couple of fantastic workarounds to solve this efficiently! Based on my own experience managing orders for family members across the country, here is how the alternative methods compare:\n\n- Option 1: Shared Wish List. Your sister can add everything to an Amazon Wish List and share the link with you. From there, you can move all items to your own cart with a single click. Pros: Extremely fast, keeps everything organized, and you stay in control of the checkout. Cons: Sometimes third-party seller prices fluctuate between accounts.\n\n- Option 2: Household Account Sharing. You can add her to your Amazon Household. Pros: She gets Prime benefits too, and can order directly on her end using your payment method if you set up a shared wallet. Cons: A bit more setup required in the account settings.\n\nHonestly, I strongly recommend the Wish List route for this specific situation. It takes two seconds to set up, saves you from hunting down individual links, and lets you breeze right through checkout using your Prime account. Give that a try and it will save you so much headache!
